We are delighted to announce that the board of trustees of the San Diego Barracudas have voted unanimously to elect Valeria Desyatnikova as the new club President of the board, effective immediately. Valeria replaces club founder and former president Ben C Calverley, who said “I couldn’t be leaving the Cudas in better hands. Valeria is a force to be reckoned with both on and off the field, and brings the fierce determination that is needed to drive rugby league in America’s Finest City to the next level”.
This appointment signals the start of an exciting new era for the club, with other announcements to follow ahead of the Las Vegas 9s in late February.
